Meet Dr. Home
Dr. Home brings over 35 years of coaching, facilitation, and research into adult learning and leadership. His extraordinary journey—from surviving 19 days adrift at sea to teaching at top universities and working with the World Bank—has equipped him with unique wisdom about integrating life's challenges.
This offering honors his root teachers, integrating the relentless determination of Goenkaji's Vipassana with the gentle healing of Thich Nhat Hanh's mindfulness. Dr. Home created MindKindness after recognizing that conventional approaches weren't meeting people's real needs for transformation that fits into daily life.
His journey through remarkable transitions—from theater director to healer during the HIV/AIDS epidemic to scholar-researcher of mindful leadership—has equipped him to guide you through your integration process.
Now based in Bali, Dr. Home has guided thousands through transformative practices, helping them develop what he calls "uncompromising compassion"—genuine kindness with clear boundaries.
